                             very interesting article.Christianity died out from North Africa except Eygpt.

I come from the island nation of Malta very near the Magreb.Here we speak an arabic derived language.Malta is christian and the religious terminology is similar to the christians of the middle east.

During the early 20th century many maltese have emigrated to Tunisia,Algeria and Egypt but after independence they have left to England and Australia.
